Neutral Noel | Welcome Noel Flex Fun Fold Card

August 9, 2026 FranklyStamping Comments 10 comments

This Flex Fun Fold Card was fun to create. I love how elegant it looks using the Neutral Noel Specialty Designer Series Paper which has rich gold foiling throughout. The beautiful gold foil design is elevated by the dark moody pecan pie and mossy meadow color pallet.

The fun fold is easy to put together and contains 3 layers of elements to make this card stand out on any mantle. As a bonus, the card easily folds flat to fit in a standard A2 envelope. Download my PDF below with all of the measurements and see my youtube video for visual instructions. These products will not be available for purchase from Stampin’ Up! until September 1 unless you are a demonstrator and get preorder options. I’d love to have you join my team and you can also become a discount shopper with zero obligations to sell or teach.

Swing Fun Fold Card | Christmas In July

July 24, 2026 FranklyStamping Comments 2 comments

Why wait until December to unleash your holiday crafting magic? Today, we are beating the summer heat by diving straight into the festive spirit with a project that will completely blow your recipients away. Don’t you just love Christmas in July!!

We are creating a Swing Fun Fold Card using the absolutely fun quilt design Stampin’ Up! A Stitched Season Suite Collection©. If you love cards that move, twist, and deliver an instant “wow” factor, this layout is your new best friend.

Why This Card Will Stop the Scroll

Folds Perfectly Flat: No extra postage is required to mail this masterpiece.

Interactive Motion: The central panel swings and flips automatically when pulled. I’ve showed the folded card and the unfolded card and the card standing on display.

Faux-Stitched Textures: The suite dies add instant whimsy without extra bulk.

Double-Sided Drama: Perfect for showing off both sides of your holiday paper.

Featured Stampin’ Up! Elements

A Stitched Season Bundle: Clean holiday sentiments paired with intricate, stitch-edged geometric dies.

Coordinating Specialty DSP: Classic festive color palettes featuring rich greens and bold reds.

I’ve included many of the beautiful alternatives I’ve made using current Stampin’ Up! designer series papers and their coordinating stamp and dies bundles/suites.

If you like my swing fun fold card creations, download the free project sheet below. Please check out my youtube video below which will explain the cutting and scoring dimensions. The youtube shows how I created this fun fold card from start to finish along with several of the alternatives. Please leave a comment telling me which card is YOUR favorite!!

Thanks for looking!

In this alternative design, I have turned the design on the end and made it into a portrait versus landscape card. Amazing!!

NOTE: I think I inadvertently gave an incorrect measurement during my video:
card base is 7-1/2″ x 4.25″, score 3-1/4″ from both ends on the 7-1/2″ side
On 7-1/2′ side make a tick mark on both sides of the 7-1/2″ sides and at both ends at 1-5/8″ from the top and bottom (4 tick marks only on 7-1/2″ side
To make the swing mechanism: on the 4-1/4″ side align the trimmer blade 3/4″ from the left and right edges and cut from 1-5/8″ to the 3-1/4″ score line. I show this in the video but I think I said (4-1/4″) The score line is at 3-1/4″ on each end of the 7-1/2″ side. You will make 4 cuts/slits. Then you will cut from the 1st cut line over to your other cut line and that makes that rectangle cut open on 3 sides. It is still attached at the 3-1/4″ score line.
Please see the video where I cut the swing mechanism. THANKS

Violet Dreams Suite Collection Triple Pop-Up Fun Fold Card

July 19, 2026 FranklyStamping Comments 0 Comment

Want to make a card that will make everyone stop in their tracks and say, ‘Wait… HOW?!’ A standard card is great, but a Triple Pop-Up Fun Fold Card brings a delightful, three-dimensional surprise to life the moment it’s opened. Today, we are combining this show-stopping interactive mechanism with the breathtaking, elegant layers of the brand-new Stampin’ Up! Violet Dreams Suite Collection.

The star of this show is the beautiful two-sided 12″x12″ designer series paper, Violet Dreams. This designer paper includes delicate florals, soft stripes, and polka dots. As an added bonus, this designer series paper pack includes coordinating punch out florals, blooms, leaves, and tags. These precut pieces bring to life any card, scrapbook page, or project.

Coordinating colors included in this designer series paper pack include Secret Sea, Fresh Freesia, Gorgeous Grape, Darling Duckling, Hydrangea Hue, and Peaceful Pine. I also think you could incorporate Highland Heather into the mix. Stampin’ Up! products and color pallets coordinate well with all of their stamps, dies, embossing folders, etc.

Other products I’d like to showcase that were used in making this card is the Framed Violets Photopolymer Stamp Set and the Framed Violets Dies – combined as the Framed Violets Bundle which always gets you 10% off if purchased as a bundle. The bundle includes beautiful violet floral stamps and the dies include a large scalloped oval die and a large oval to make your card focal point stand out. Of course if you are the “I need it all” person like I am, there is the Violet Dreams Suite Collection where you can get all of the goodies that coordinate the airy soft florals like the stamp/die bundle, embellishment, fresh freesia ribbon, and the designer series paper pack. As another added bonus in the suite is the beautiful shimmery glittery Shimmering Stripes cardstock.

I have listed all of the measurements and products to make the fun fold card in the downloadable PDF below. However, the PDF does not contain the specific instructions to make or assemble the 2 needed folding pop-up mechanisms to operate the mechanical pieces of the card. I have explained in depth in my youtube video how to create and assemble the mechanical pieces of the card. If you want additional information, be sure to check out my youtube video below. Be sure to comment and let me know which card is your favorite.

Lakeside Retreat Paper Pumpkin Alternative Fun Fold Cards

April 29, 2026 FranklyStamping Comments 2 comments

Paper Pumpkin April 2026 Lakeside Retreat Alternative

April 2026 Paper Pumpkin Lakeside Retreat is a nature-inspired card-making kit designed primarily for masculine occasions like Father’s Day and birthdays. It features serene waterside imagery and an earthy color palette, allowing you to create nine handmade cards. When I started looking at this amazing kit, the ideas just kept coming, one right after another. I made the 3 original designed cards and then got started on making alternatives with all of the kit contents. I accidentally received 2 kits so I had plenty of ephemera and card bases and envelopes to play with. This masculine card kit had perfect card bases and ephemera that worked well with the fun fold templates.

I have listed all of the measurements to make the fun fold cards in the downloadable PDF below. If you want additional information, be sure to check out my youtube video below. Be sure to comment and let me know which card is your favorite.

I have included the basic supplies below that I used, however the new products coming in the May 5 Catalog are not able to be linked until the catalog goes live on May 5. The Waterside Retreat Suite Collection is a fantastic collection of products and coordinates well with this Lakeside Retreat kit. Be sure to check it out on May 5. Thanks for looking.
